Reporting to the Shop Supervisor and/or Lead Hand Shipping Receiving, the Shipper/Receiver is responsible for unloading materials, preparing materials for shipping, filling work orders, and monitoring inventory.Key Position Functions:<ul><li>Unload, sort, and inspect incoming material</li><li>Prepare outgoing material for shipment</li><li>Ensure proper paper work flow of Purchase Orders and packing slips</li><li>Monitor and maintain strong inventory records</li><li>Organize and maintain the work area; including maintenance of equipment, product storage containers, and racking</li><li>Assist with wellhead assemblies (as required)</li><li>Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to complete work duties</li><li>Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures</li><li>Participate in rotational on call schedule</li><li>Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul>Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:<ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>1 to 2 years of related shipping and receiving experience</li><li>Strong computer skills with experience using SAP preferred</li><li>Inventory management an asset</li><li>Mechanical assembly/repair experience an asset</li><li>Forklift experience is an asset</li><li>Strong commitment to workplace health and safety</li><li>Strong communication (oral and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Detail oriented, strong work ethic, and self-motivated</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li></ul>The Stream-Flo Group of Companies, consisting of Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. and Master Flo Valve Inc., are privately owned and operated Canadian manufacturers of wellhead, production gate valve and check valve equipment, as well as chokes, specialty control valves and supporting actuation.
