The ideal candidate will be located in the Pouce Coupe or&nbsp; Dawson Creek area.&nbsp;Work Environment&nbsp;This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime.&nbsp;A Day in The Life<ul><li>Safely operate roll off cable truck and trailer in diverse weather and challenging work site environments</li><li>Comply with all site and jurisdiction traffic safety legislation;</li><li>Inspect transport units and loads (pre trip and post trip) to ensure safe operations required by jurisdiction, and or/ NSC standards;</li><li>Attend and participate in Secure Energy safety meetings</li><li>Complete all required daily safety paperwork</li><li>Ensure load is always properly secured and within legal load limits</li><li>Completion and submission on a timely basis of all documentation as required. This includes logbooks, equipment inspection reports, time tickets, accompanying manifests, trip records, fuel, and credit card receipts (JSA’s and WSRA’s);</li><li>Abide by all Secure Energy and customer specific safety procedures;</li><li>Ensure all Secure Energy safety policies and procedures are followed;</li><li>Safely operate cable roll-off truck</li><li>Abide by all Waste Services and customer plant-specific safety procedures</li><li>Ensure all labels are completed in full including shipping name, generator name, approval number, TDG Class, UN number, Packing Group number, load number etc.</li><li>Inspect all waste material to ensure compliance with manifest, recycle docket and bill of lading descriptions</li><li>Communicate effectively daily with Dispatch to maximize customer needs and Secure Energy efficiencies</li><li>Complete minor preventative maintenance such as greasing, air filter checks, brake adjustments and settings</li></ul>Skills, Experience, &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of&nbsp;3 years driving experience in the transportation industry</li><li>Solid knowledge base with respect to Hours of Service, load securement and driving regulations</li><li>Solid understanding of Canadian geography, highway systems and remote oilfield locations</li><li>Solid understanding of TDG, specially placarding and manifest completion</li><li>Prior experience in roll-off, bed truck or winch tractor is required</li><li>Class 1 driver certification</li><li>Must have clean drivers abstract</li><li>Must be able to work varied shifts with uncertain start and finish times</li></ul>What’s in it for you:At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
