Responsibilities and Duties<ul><li>Work in a fast-paced team environment.</li><li>Pre-use inspection on equipment before starting the job.</li><li>Read and interpret drawings per the job.</li><li>Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment (SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW)</li><li>Select proper tooling for the job.</li><li>Set up on weld positioner/spinner.</li><li>Follow appropriate work instructions per the job and adhere to weld procedures.</li><li>Follow the QHSE policy and procedures.</li><li>Communicate process and safety improvements throughout the shop.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul>Minimum Job Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Journeyman red seal welder.</li><li>B pressure experience an asset.</li><li>Heat treat experience an asset.</li><li>Overhead crane and forklift experience.</li><li>Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.</li></ul>Schlumberger Canada Limited (“SLB Canada”) is committed to workplace diversity and employment equity and supports initiatives to enhance employment opportunities for local workforces and Indigenous Persons.DisclaimerSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
