Our facility is located approximately 12 km north of Redwater or a 45-minute drive from north Edmonton.Wage Rate:&nbsp;$34.22/hour-36.30/hourWe Offer<ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Annual boot allowance</li><li>Travel allowance</li><li>Company paid sick days</li><li>RRSP matching</li><li>Comprehensive benefit plan</li><li>Opportunities for growth within the company</li></ul>Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate Super B trucks (side dump trailers) to transport aggregates such as sand and gravel to designated locations.</li><li>Short pit to pit hauling</li><li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies regarding safe driving and cargo handling.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery schedules, and any incidents or mechanical issues.</li><li>Ensure proper loading and unloading of aggregates, verifying the weight and type of materials.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, scale house operators, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the truck, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.</li><li>Follow route and time schedules to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Education &amp; Training<ul><li>Class 1 Drivers’ License with a clean commercial drivers abstract.</li><li>Proven experience operating Super B trucks (side dump trailers) or similar heavy-duty vehicles.</li><li>Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.</li><li>Ability to conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Physical ability to handle heavy materials and perform manual tasks as required.</li><li>Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.</li></ul>Competencies<ul><li>Demonstrates professionalism</li><li>Displays excellent hand, eye, and foot coordination</li><li>Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and part of a team</li><li>Establishes high degree of personal initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision</li><li>Demonstrates a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and ability to work under pressure</li><li>Displays exceptional attention to detail</li><li>Ability to communicate well with supervisors and staff, and to foster positive work relationships</li><li>Must comply with the company’s pre-employment testing requirements</li></ul>Pre-Employment Screening<ul><li>Drug and Alcohol testing</li><li>Audiometry</li><li>Criminal Record Check</li><li>Clean/Acceptable Driver Abstract</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $34.22-$36.30 per hour
