Operators actively assist with standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs and environment protection, while keeping in constant contact with customers and demonstrating excellent communications skills and a high level of customer service.The Coronation Full Service Terminal is a fast paced and exciting facility to learn and GROW in. The successful candidate must also display a strong ability to work and communicate within a team environment.Essential Duties &amp; ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility</li><li>Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water &amp; vac trucks</li><li>Responsible for oil treating with the treater, cooler or tank treating</li><li>Participating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker &amp; centrifuge operations and solids treating</li><li>Responsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement &amp; Crude Oil Quality compliance</li><li>Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing and pump maintenance</li><li>Conducting treatment of solids on the waste pad</li><li>Conducting boiler operations, testing and steam system operations</li><li>Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to</li><li>Participates in the Health &amp; Safety Management System (HSMS)</li><li>Waste plant operation (ensuring solids processing is meeting or exceeding landfill criteria and solids testing)</li><li>Following water injection SOP’s and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity</li><li>General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe</li></ul>Qualifications and Educational Requirements:The successful candidate will have:<ul><li>A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Experience in operating waste processing and oil treating or water injection an asset, but not required</li><li>Midstream terminal operations experience is considered an asset</li><li>Training in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loader is considered an asset</li><li>Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG</li><li>A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment</li><li>Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure clear communication with the rest of the team</li><li>Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues</li><li>Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices</li><li>A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Able to complete tasks accurately and efficiently</li><li>Have some analytical capabilities</li><li>Be able to manage multiple priorities and have good time management skills</li><li>Strong comprehension skills</li></ul>Please note: This is a 7 on x 7 off shift of 12 hours, rotating between days and evenings.
