Application Developer

Pacesetter is a leading directional drilling service provider and is looking for a .NET developer to assist in the development and implementation of our field operations platform. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong programmer who is not afraid to learn about the directional drilling space in oil and gas and who likes turning business opportunity into scalable and powerful applications. As an application developer, you will participate in all aspects of development from requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance. In other words, you will be very active in the entire development lifecycle.

Responsibilities 

• Designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting Pacesetter application development. 
• Debugging and testing software implementations. 
• Providing technical support to users and other team members. 
• Providing recommendations for improvements to our development process. 
• Monitoring the latest trends and technologies in software development and helping us employ best practices and efficient processes.
