Lafarge has an immediate opening for a Crusher Operator to join our team in Fort McMurray. The Ideal candidate should comfortably be operating a crusher and other types of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and the environment

Seek out and implement Best Practices

Create an atmosphere of teamwork and ensure the development of personnel and arbitrate to resolve conflicts

Identify and communicate product problems and information

Perform several types of manual work

Handle materials, tools, and equipment

Operate automotive vehicles when required

Shovel spillage around conveyor

Willing to work flexible hours, job involves shift work and weekend work throughout the year

Safety:

Must be able to work on Industrial Oil Sands sites in RMWB

Adhere to all company safety and environmental practices and policies – training provided

Contribute toward the overall success of the safety program by following set rules procedures and practices

Identify and report workplace hazards and make positive suggestions for their elimination or control

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience working with gravel processing jaws, cones, and screens

Experience with rubber tired loaders and excavators is an asset

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good organizational and planning skills.
