ChampionX has an immediate need for a District Representative I located in Lloydminster, AB.  As a District Representative, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and supporting established production chemical programs for local oil and gas producers as well as for growing the current business. You will be supported by a team of sales and technical professionals and have access to internal training opportunities to grow your technical and sales knowledge.

What You Will Do:

Document and report services provided and project status to customers.

Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.

Adopt and utilize the ChampionX account management process providing and communicating value to customers.

Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new oil and gas producing customers.

Collaborate with sales and technical team to provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges.

Grow your technical and sales knowledge to better support our customers.

Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with ChampionX.

Identifying and building new business opportunities by calling on new customers, driving growth within our company.

Some travel is required to support business and internal training requirements.

Position Details:

Candidate must reside in the Lloydminster, AB area.

Territory will include Lloydminster, AB, and the surrounding area.

Immigration sponsorship not available for this position.

This role requires individual to be clean shaven to comply with customer site policy and safety requirement.

Must have the ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.

This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing.

Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (Driver's Abstract).

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience working in the oil and gas industry and/or sales

High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)

History of working autonomously in the field and ability to demonstrate self-motivation

Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or applicable specialty chemical/operational experience.

Technical sales or field sales support experience.

Specialty chemical industry experience.

Prior experience that required excellent communication skills.

Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills.
