Bravo Target Safety is currently looking for an experienced, career-minded Field Supervisor to join our team at our Fort McMurray Office. This is an exciting opportunity to start or advance your career with Bravo Target Safety!
Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position. The successful candidate should be local to the Fort McMurray area.
Position Description
- Communicate regularly with Operations Coordinators (Dispatch), HSEQ, Project Managers, and Area Manager
- Conduct field inspections and submit required reporting to supervisor and HSEQ Manager via Intelex or any other required reports methods
- Work with peers on planning for upcoming work, receiving client feedback post-project work, and integrating continuous improvement strategies
- Promote Bravo Target Safety Mission, Vision, Values, and general safety culture to all workers
- Understand and show leadership in Safety Concepts and Principles such as RICE, Risk Management 4-T’s, MOC (Management of Change) and PDCC (Plan, Do, Check, Correct)
- Must be familiar with and understand Bravo Target Safety Health and Safety Program, Best Policies Manual and Transportation Manual
- Mentor and coach all field staff
- Immediately correct any deficiencies or unsafe work practices and follow up on deficiencies in a timely manner
- Conduct and participate in any incident investigations as required
- Consistent involvement with customers on active work sites, and rectify any issues either on location or through reporting to the Area Manager
- Complete reports as required and forward to Area Manager for review, discussion, and action close out
- Prioritize your day around workers experience and criticality of the job
- Plan career and development discussions, identify resources and provide workers with access to the information to help them develop in their roles.
- Travel to and from branch offices and work sites will be required during all seasons
Position Requirements
- Minimum 10-years’ experience within O&G sector.
- Minimum 5 years having direct responsibility and accountability for workers, equipment, and work processes.
- NCSO, OH&S CRSP or related professional designation.
- Post-secondary education in business or equivalent experience
- Current Tickets: H2S Alive, First-Aid/CPR, and Petroleum Safety Training, CSTS or CSO, TDG and WHMIS
- Working knowledge of authoritative standards including NIOSH, NFPA, CSA, Canadian Provincial H&S legislation, Canadian DOT, TDG, and Transport Canada regulations
- Ability to travel
