Right now, we are looking to hire a Fleet & Rental Coordinator to join our team, based out of our Fort. St. John office. The ideal candidate has experience managing vehicle and tool preventive maintenance programs and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and government regulations are maintained and followed.
AS OUR FLEET AND RENTAL COORDINATOR, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:
- Track fleet and tool usage and maintain accurate inventory of equipment.
- Track and maintain accurate records for fuel logs and km travelled monthly.
- Schedule and track preventative maintenance and calibrations of tools and fleet.
- Assist in the development of a maintenance budget by providing input relative to policy, maintenance costs, depreciation, and other established metrics.
- Ensure the maintenance records for fleet and tools are accurate and up to date.
- Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost efficiencies.
- Communicate maintenance requirements to ensure maximum efficiency and implement correction actions as required.
- Create and input purchase orders to the applicable software system.
- Complete pick-up and delivery of tools/fleet as required.
- Order and schedule fleet and rental equipment when necessary.
- Complete hazard identification and assessment on an ongoing basis.
- Assist with the completion of incident reports and incident associated costs.
- Maintain organization and safety within the shop environment.
- Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Fleet Management software skills.
- Available to work Monday-Friday with the occasional weekend as required.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Motor Vehicle Act, Transport Regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of time sensitive tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning skills.

Salary Range: $48,000.00 To $52,000.00 Annually
