General Foreperson
Position Summary
We are seeking a General Foreman who will be based full-time at Mount Bracey starting in July. The project is scheduled until 2027. Prior to that, the successful candidate will be assigned to the Cenovus Foster Creek project.
- Project Name: Mount Bracey Compressor Station
- Nearest City: Prince George, BC (Camp Project)
- Shift: 14 Days on/7 Days off
- $400 tax free rotational travel allowance paid once per shift
- $25 daily retention bonus paid at the end of assignment
- Project Name: Cenovus Foster Creek.
- Nearest City: Cold Lake, AB (Camp Project)
- Shift: 8 Days on/6 Days off
- $300 tax free rotational travel allowance paid once per shift
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Install, alter, repair, maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications.
- Plan layout and illustration of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
- Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, to ensure compliance with codes.
- Supervise field teams while working alongside the crew.
- Monitors and enforces safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor field progress and report to the Project Superintendent
- Lead a crew of up to 10 workers.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test.
- Possess a valid Journeyperson certificate issued by the appropriate provincial or federal authority.
- Industrial/energy industry experience an asset.
