What You Will Do:

  • Monitor and empty the chip bins at the machines and dispose of them in the proper location.
  • Monitor and maintain the chemicals, oils and cleaners in each of the production cells
  • Maintain the washroom cleanliness and replace supplies as required
  • Maintain lunchroom cleanliness by wiping down tables, emptying garbage’s, and cleaning the floors.
  • Maintain general shop cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning windows, emptying garbage’s, shoveling snow, mowing lawn, etc…
  • Receive, put away, and organize production supplies
  • Assist department leads in completing projects/tasks (i.e. Worksite inspection, continuous improvement, etc…)
  • Manage consumables, including receiving, organizing, and distributing as required
  • Follow all rules, regulations and legislation
  • Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines

Position Details:

  • Working at the South Edmonton Accessories facility exclusively
  • Permanent
  • Full-time
  • Monday to Friday

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Excellent organization skills
  • Reliable
  • Able to prioritize
  • Able to work independently, but work well with others
  • Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English
  • Available for overtime as needed

Pre-employment Requirements:

  • Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day
