The ideal candidate must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and will be responsible for performing inside sales and administrative duties that support the marketing activities to accomplish the division’s strategic performance objectives. This role is hybrid/remote, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager based in North Bay, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete export documentation
  • Respond to customer inquiries and conduct follow-ups.
  • Develop and maintain a broad product knowledge base.
  • Build client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with the creation of timely and factual customer call reports.
  • Coordinate with the International Business Development Manager sales team on pricing and sales strategies.
  • Assist Supply Chain in maintaining inventory levels to adequately service customer requirements.
  • Facilitate customer orders through our ERP system.
  • Provide administrative support to the manager, sales representatives, and customers.
  • Track delivery of products to client site; ensure accuracy of orders and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate customer freight logistics including sourcing competitive rates, optimum material handling and timely delivery.
  • Manage and complete all export documentation required for international shipments.
  • Support International Business Development Manager to ensure sales, budgets and revenue goals are met.
  • Ensure that activities are conducted according to policy and procedures.
  • Meet the operational objectives while complying with the overall corporate goals.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness.
  • Identify, investigate, and correct unsafe practices.
  • Meet set deadlines.
  • Other related duties as they arise

Minimum Required Education:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field would be considered an asset
  • High School Diploma
  • Technical experience in mineral exploration drilling is considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with export documentation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, keyboarding skills of 30+ words per minute
  • Maintain and stay current with Export Laws and Regulations
  • 3-5 years inside sales or administrative experience
  • Respect for and appropriate handling of confidential information
