Our supply chain team is responsible for the materials used by STEP in the field, shop and office. They provide an exceptional experience to both internal and external clients and maintain a high degree of accuracy, often under tight deadlines. This close-knit team is always looking for possibilities and ways to better support STEP professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, participate and review inventory counts on a quarterly basis and maintaining company standards for loss and gain
- Perform daily inventory task such as pre-counts, issues, transfers and replenishment
- Perform shipping and receiving of parts and materials
- Prepare all related paperwork including but not limited to, purchase orders, issue slips, transfer forms, inventory counts and work closely with the finance team to ensure invoicing is completed properly and in a timely manner
- Source and purchase all necessary replacement parts, consumables, shop supplies, PPE, tools and needed materials for work orders, direct purchases, inventory replenishment, shop or field use
- Assist in the proper vendor selection and vendor maintenance program on an on-going basis
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports as required
- Coach and mentor team members and other professionals on related parts processes and procedures
- Ensure company safety program is followed and enforced as it relates to the parts room and PPE usage

WHAT WE REQUIRE:
Education:
- Completed provincial journey(man) parts technician certification is required. Red seal designation is preferred.
- Enform H2S Alive, First Aid/CPR, TDG, WHMIS, Forklift operation, loader training, Aerial Lift, Overhead Crane, ½ and full mask fit test, audio logical testing and other training as required by HSE or Human Resource departments
Related Experience:
- 3 years experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook to enable competency in all aspects of day to day operations involving spreadsheets, reconciliation and daily communication
Class 5 driver’s license: Clean driver’s abstract is required with no learner conditions.
Physical ability: You will perform hard manual labor. Qualified applicants can multitask with ease and have client service skills that are second to none. They have an extremely high attention to detail and strong organizational skills which are viewed as assets in performing your job responsibilities.
