Your Opportunity at SECURE Energy
As our Marketing and Communications Advisor, you will be responsible for researching and writing content for internal and external communications channels, which include, but are not limited to, the intranet, corporate website, and digital media platforms. The incumbent will also collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of all company-wide communication initiatives.
This role is based out of Calgary, Alberta

The team is a collaborative team that works in a fast-paced environment, providing best-in-class service to our internal and external stakeholders.
Work Environment
This is a permanent full-time position working in an office environment.
A Day in The Life
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in developing and executing internal and external strategic communications plans, marketing plans, and campaigns
- Drive employee engagement by creating engaging content on SECURE’s internal website to notify employees of current and upcoming business initiatives
- Publish and monitor content on all social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter
- Research, interpret, and track analytics from various social media platforms to provide data-driven recommendations to the business
- Support various internal stakeholders to develop business-related content as required
Skills, Experience, & Qualifications
The individual in this role will have:
- 5-7 years of related experience in communications, content development
- Public Relations/Communications Degree or Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Exceptional written communication skills including editing, proofreading and attention to detail
- A storyteller with an ability to take complex information and distill into engaging, informative pieces for employees
- Up-to-date understanding of best practices in communications
- Proven delivery of marketing & communications strategies in fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to work independently
- Proficient in SharePoint, Office 365, content management systems and digital media platforms
- Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is an asset
