What You Will Do:

  • Provide sales support for the Alberta Oil Tool specific product lines (artificial lift, tubular, well head and other related products).
  • Works closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
  • Generate and execute sales plans in assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
  • Researches and provides forecasting for sales activities in the assigned sales territory or accounts.
  • Effectively uses sales tools and processes to promote an efficient and effective sales process.
  • Organizes presentations for distributors and end users.
  • Support/lead trials of new technologies and proactively show initiatives by bringing ideas and new technologies to territory.
  • Initiate and lead sales campaigns within territory.
  • Supplies after sales technical support to customers.
  • Performs all work in an ethical manner, compliant with local regulations and company policies.
  • Travel within assigned sales territory.
  • Other duties as required.

Position Details:

  • Focused on Northwest Alberta territories, such as: Grande Prairie, Whitecourt, Edson, Red Earth, Peace River, Slave Lake, etc.
  • Candidate located in Grande Prairie is preferred but open to remote work.
  • Must be able to frequently travel to customer sites if located remotely.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Four or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry required.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to use a customer relationship management system.

Pre-employment Requirements:

  • Drug and alcohol test.
  • Criminal background check.
  • Drivers abstract.
