Project Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
Strike is looking for a Project Coordinator to support our day-to-day operations in Rainbow Lake, AB. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: communicating with clients and Strike field supervision to fulfill project requirements, coordinating crew movements through daily morning meetings, communicating with field supervision to understand and fulfill equipment needs, working with the fleet coordinator to keep all equipment in good order, managing local consumables inventory to support ongoing and upcoming work, driving initiatives to improve client facing deliverables such as exceptional execution and safety targets and working with Strike safety to complete site inspections to find solutions for continuous improvement.
POSITION DETAILS
- Full-time position based out of Rainbow Lake, AB
- Preference will be given to local candidates
- Negotiable shift rotation - could include 21/4, 24/6, or 14/14
- The sucessful candidate will be supplied with a company vehicle, and accommodations and a meal allowance will be provided
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PDF editing software
- Organized and able to keep track of equipment movements, crew movements, and stock movements
- Able to coordinate tasks and people for multiple projects simultaneously
- Well versed in OHS Requirements in regards to oilfield construction
- A strong communicator comfortable with public speaking
- Be able to make decisions focused on Strikes integrity and client relations
- Have a high degree of mechanical aptitude (Be able to diagnose mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment)
- Comfortable in fast paced environments
- Strong problem-solving abilities
