We have a full-time position for an Outside Sales Representative in Prince George, BC.
BOXX Modular leases and sells temporary and permanent modular buildings, including standard buildings ready for immediate delivery and custom-designed solutions. We work with our customers to design and deliver solutions and provide additional services such as delivery, installation and furniture rentals.
Currently we are seeking an energetic and experienced individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative in Prince George, BC, managing a sales territorythat covers Northern BC. You will manage all customer inquiries, prepare quotations for products and services, and build your portfolio by researching, identifying, and nurturing qualified leads to help grow our modular building rentals business, coordinating logistics, collaborating with vendors and facilitating operations, all while providing first-class customer service. The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding established sales goals and targets to increase revenue and profit within a defined geographic region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Call on & build strong relationships with key customers in your defined territory to position BOXX Modular as a preferred supplier.
- Actively research and identify new business to solicit by scanning industry journals or reports, networking, cold calls and other means to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Handle incoming sales calls and walk-in business.
- Build and demonstrate product knowledge on products and key competitive product lines and use this product knowledge to provide technical sales and service support to customers.
- Prepare quotes and contracts that are competitive and satisfy the client’s requirements, while adhering to the Company’s pricing, credit, and payment policies.
- Obtain proper approval for sales and rental contracts.
- Track and communicate sales and rentals relative to target by maintaining profiles of key customers, keeping all leads and opportunities current and managing the sales process.
- Assist Branch Manager with maintaining fleet condition, ordering materials, coordinating building maintenance and repairs and month-end fleet/inventory counts.
- Complete in-bound and out-bound inspections, document building condition, and support Contract Administrator for all customer chargebacks and maintenance.
- Conduct monthly travel to Ft St John yard (or more as required) to facilitate branch operations.
- Conduct site visits with customers and vendors to provide sales support and address any issues.
- Assist Branch Manager in coordinating building deliveries, returns, installations/demobilizations.
- Contact customers in after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction & resolve any complaints.
- Follow up on collection of payment from customers as required.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years selling with strong full cycle sales development skills.
- Experience in the Modular Structures industry is a strong asset but not required.
- Strong written & oral communication skills, demonstrates proactivity, flexibility, & self-direction.
- Technical competency and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites as required.
