
Tool Specialist
Job Summary:
In accordance with job responsibilities and work authority, assist the integrated project team in organizing, coordinating, managing, and operating tool service. Monitor and control operations, safety, environmental protection, quality, progress, and costs to ensure efficient and orderly operations in the designated area.
Responsibility:
l Prepare, inspect, operate, and maintain tools.
l control operations, safety, environmental protection, quality, progress, and costs for tool service projects.
l operate tool service strictly adhering to design requirements during construction.
l Analyze causes of tool malfunctions during operations, propose effective solutions, and report promptly.
l Assist in tracking tool quality and providing optimization and improvement suggestions.
l Be responsible of maintenance and repair work in the tool workshop to ensure tools meet construction requirements.
l Assist in introducing and implementing new technologies and processes for quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, and track and summarize construction outcomes.
l Participate in relevant technical and skills training and verification/tests.
l Write daily operation reports and provide timely feedback on field operation conditions.
l Coordinate the logistic plan for the required tools.
Experience & Skills:
l Minimum 5 years operations experiences with downhole tools, preferably with prior oilfield service experience in Canada.
l Experience in maintenance and inspection of various brands of downhole tools.
l Proficient in tool mechanism and operations.
l Strong communication skills with field personnel and project teams.
l Proficient in computer applications for reporting and incident analysis.
l Ability to follow project assignments.
l Capable of training others in tool operation and maintenance.
l Assist in preparing operation risk analyses, emergency plans, and completion reports for drilling efficiency improvement and casing directional milling services.
l Assist in on-site operations for casing directional milling.
l Able to strictly implement operations in accordance with designs and operating procedures under guidance.
