You’ll receive training in NORM detection and safety. Your tasks will include detecting, surveying, handling, and decontaminating oilfield equipment, and waste using high-pressure water blast equipment. You’ll also sample, document, store waste, maintain decontamination equipment and prepare reports to meet client and regulatory requirements. The Operator is responsible for day-to-day duties on site needed to complete work in a safe and timely fashion and maintain a clean work site. The Operator is also expected to take part in general housekeeping of the site, including all associated equipment on the property.
