The Inventory Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day duties of inventory and materials for shop operations. With competitive benefits, a casual work environment, generous time-off policies, and a culture grounded in respect and integrity, we create a workplace where people feel empowered and valued.&nbsp;DAY IN THE LIFE:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Picking and packing, preparing orders daily</li><li>Receive and sort buy-out materials</li><li>Load and unload freight and materials as instructed</li><li>Unpack, code, and route goods to appropriate storage areas</li><li>Work on the EPR system utilizing SAP</li><li>Maintain internal, manual, or computerized inventory cycle count</li><li>Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods</li><li>General warehouse maintenance, such as cleaning and organization</li><li>Participate in all safety meetings and assist with identifying workplace hazards</li><li>Various other duties as required</li><li>Overtime as required</li></ul>WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:&nbsp;<ul><li>A High school diploma is required</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with numbers</li><li>Forklift experience is an asset, though training will be provided to the right candidate</li><li>Must be willing to work in safety safety-conscious environment</li><li>Must be motivated and have good communication skills, have a positive attitude, and be able to work well in a collaborative setting as well as on their own</li></ul>If this position interests you, and you feel like you’re the right person for the job, please apply!
