What You Will Do:

  • Conducts field service calls as required
  • Install and service ChampionX chemical skids/pumps
  • Install and commission ChampionX automation on customer sites
  • Provides professional and timely service to customer concerns
  • Completes field service reports
  • Using technical knowledge of products and services to sell, deliver, install, and maintain company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.
  • Develops strong customer relationships.
  • Represents company in a professional manner
  • Knows and enforces compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
  • Overnight Stay will be required
  • Other duties as required

Position Details:

  • Travel to customer/client sites will be required

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience working independently in a safe and reliable manner

Physical Demands

  • Pre-employment physical demands assessment required upon hire
  • Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Employee is required to regularly walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
  • Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills - Expresses thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing, using good grammar. Listens to understand input, feedback and concerns. Provides complete information in an open, honest and straightforward manner. Responds promptly and positively to questions and requests.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge; does well in technical courses and seminars.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electric chemical pumps and components
  • Install and service ChampionX automation product line
