Job Description

FLINT is seeking Multiskilled Operators with experience operating various heavy machinery to support diverse mining operations for a permanent position in Fort McMurray, AB starting December. In this position, you will enjoy a 14/14 schedule, camp accommodations, flights provided from Calgary or Edmonton, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6000 hours of experience operating a 250+ excavator, coupled with at least 2000 hours on either a 785+ haul truck or D8+ dozer.
  • Demonstrated experience in open pit mining, with a minimum of 2000 hours.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • CSO or BSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation)
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Able to train on new equipment when requested.
  • Able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
