Boreal Eline - Pumpdown, a division of Bonnett’s Energy Corp. is looking to fill the following position based out of our Grande Prairie, AB location:

Electronics Technician – Journeyperson

We are expanding our Electric Fleet and require an electronics technician with computer software knowledge who will be responsible for addressing electrical issues and performing repairs and maintenance on all components of Boreal Eline Pumpdown equipment.   There may also be some field work required to trouble shoot and any required repairs while on location.

Responsibilities:

  • Work safely in accordance with all company safety policies, procedures, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all Boreal Eline electrical equipment and components
  • Record and document all inspections, work orders, and repairs accurately in a timely manner
  • Maintain all recording and control software
  • Updates and modification requests
  • Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis
  • Assist in scheduling and cost analysis for repairs
  • Remote field work will be required
  • Provide support and feedback to Manufacturing, Design, Parts, and Operations regarding maintenance, preventative maintenance, system failures, part defects, human errors, safety hazard identification, or anything else that would improve our equipment. Analyze operational issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and durability.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 2-year experience
  • Post-Secondary education in electronics, electrical or instrumentation or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License Class 3 an asset
  • Ability to consistently and accurately identify and troubleshoot problems with our Electric Fleet
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Prior field service experience is preferred
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and schematics.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Schedule:

  • You will work a schedule of 5 & 2
  • Weekends & Overtime as required
