Innovation and progress are achieved through valuing the ideas of our people, two-way communication, and being open to change.  Please visit the ‘About Us’ and ‘Careers’ sections of our website to learn more.<h2>What You’ll Do</h2><ul><li>Interpret production order information, including material grade, size, thread description, part description.</li><li>Understand the sequence of operations for a production order.</li><li>Support Machinists with setup of premium gauges to required specifications and standards for manufacturing, proficiently and accurately.</li><li>Review documents, drawing numbers and revisions, material requirements, stamping requirements, ensuring current version is being referenced.</li><li>Read and interpret drawings, including understanding stamping/ stenciling information from drawings.</li><li>Use measuring instruments and gauges to ensure product quality standards are being met.</li><li>Perform efficient receiving inspection, first off, in-process and last-off inspections of CNC and manual manufactured parts.</li><li>Maintain and file clean, and fully completed inspection sheets for Argus and customer product.</li><li>Verify calibration of instruments and gauges used are up to date. </li><li>Undertake inspections and complete inspection reports for special processes including, swaging, stress relief, abrasive blasting, phosphating and torques. </li><li>Phosphate tank testing.</li><li>Responsible for final inspection, including verification that all required processes and all final documentation is completed and ready for shipment.  </li><li>Verify documentation complies with all customer requirements at time of shipping. Provide completed document package to shipping.</li><li>Report and record all Non-conforming (NCR) products to the QA Supervisor.</li><li>Provide peer training to new employees in QA department.</li><li>Provide general QA and shop assistance as required.</li></ul><h2>What You Bring</h2><ul><li>3+ years’ experience in a Quality assurance/ control position preferred.</li><li>High School Diploma required.</li><li>Meet vision examination requirements of ASNT spec SNT-TC-1A.</li><li>Working knowledge of all required measuring instruments, optical comparator, work instructions and Licensor specifications.</li><li>Quality System and Licensor training as required.</li><li>Competent using computer software including Microsoft Office, Adobe and Dynamics AX.</li><li>General knowledge of products and services in relation to the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safe work practices, Quality Assurance requirements, and Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing) principles and the ability to impart that knowledge to others</li></ul>At Argus, our core values are more than just words, they’re a way of life.
