Understand and apply pump affinity laws to HPS systems.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of service and maintenance activities and internal documentation required for billing.</li><li>This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of horizontal pumping systems, which are vital in various industrial applications.</li><li>Knowledgeable of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Prepares paperwork to include detailed service reports and forms.</li><li>Ability and willingness to travel out of town and to and from location when needed.</li><li>Working environment will consist of being exposed to the outdoor weather elements.</li><li>Maintain mechanical performance and cleanliness of truck used in transportation to and from the field.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in relevant fields/trades are often preferred.</li><li>3 to 4 years of experience in artificial lift operations.</li><li>Minimum of 6 months experience with rotating equipment experience (maintenance or assembly) preferred.</li><li>Previous experience in a similar role or in the oil and gas industry is beneficial.</li><li>Strong technical and mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently in the field.</li><li>Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.</li></ul><h2>Additional preferred qualifications:</h2><ul><li>Horizontal OR Electric Submersible Pump systems experience</li><li>H2S, First Aid, TDG, WHMIS certifications</li><li>Has worked with competitors (Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Levare etc.)</li><li>Electrical motor experience (for pump troubleshooting)</li><li>Millwright background</li></ul>Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.&nbsp;Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Service Specialist II and Service Specialist III.&nbsp;Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
