The team values hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized facility<i>.</i></p><h2><strong>A Day in The Life</strong></h2><p>The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>General facility up-keep, maintenance and organization</li><li>Wash equipment that comes back from field</li><li>General maintenance of shop tools, equipment, and vehicles</li><li>Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of a hand truck</li><li>Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies</li><li>General assembly work that may require operating automated machinery and various power/hand tools</li><li>Inspects all assembly parts and reports defective material or questionable component conditions to management</li><li>Provide assistance to the facility manager with overall plant operations</li><li>Assist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are low/production or operating demands are accelerated</li><li>General housekeeping of the facility</li><li>Other general labour duties as required</li></ul><h2><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Grade 12 or GED</li><li>Previous steam, mobile, truck washing or shop laborer experience</li><li>Previous Forklift/ Bobcat/ Crane experience would be considered an asset</li><li>Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50lbs for extended periods of time</li><li>Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and customer service</li><li>Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions</li><li>Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently perform the job productively under tight deadlines</li><li>Must have positive communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul><h2><strong>What's in it for you</strong></h2><p>At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
